Ultra Street Lightened Underdrive Crank Pulley
Unorthodox Racing lightened underdrive pulleys can provide gains of 5 to 12 HP and 4 to 8 lbs.-ft. on normally aspirated engines and 8 to 16 HP and 8 to 18 lbs.-ft. on forced induction engines. These are average gains. Higher gains are possible.
These gains are obtained in two ways. First, and most important, is the weight loss. An average of 2.7 HP is gained from every pound lost off the crank shaft. 85% of Unorthodox gains are from weight loss. The rest of the gains are from underdriving. Unorthodox does not push underdriving for two main reasons. First is to keep charging systems, air conditioning, power steering, and water pumps moving fast enough for every day driving. Second, not much horsepower is gained from extreme underdriving. Also, all of the underdriving is done with the crank pulley, not the accessory pulleys. This is done so maximum weight loss can be achieved at the crank where most of the horsepower gains are found.
Unorthodox pulleys are CNC-machined from lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum billet. Premium 6061-T6 aluminum billet ensures the consistency of the material's strength and balance. Tolerances are held to within .001", and numerous machining steps are used to ensure the lightest possible design. In addition to fit, finish is just as important and each piece is representative of this. Every pulley is inspected multiple times from machining to anodizing to stocking and finally at shipping time. If at any point a pulley does not pass inspection it is pulled from production. Ultra Street lightened underdrive pulleys are available in black, polished, red, and blue anodizing. Please note that on some models red and blue anodizing are special order and may require additional time to ship.
Ultra Race Lightened Underdrive Crank Pulley
Unorthodox Racing Ultra Race lightened underdrive crank pulleys are CNC-machined from the same lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum billet Unorthodox uses for all their Ultra Series pulleys. Premium 6061-T6 aluminum billet ensures the consistency of the material's strength and balance. Tolerances are held to within .001" and numerous machining steps are taken to ensure they are the lightest possible design. Ultra Race lightened underdrive pulleys only come in a natural polished aluminum finish.
Unorthodox Racing Ultra Race pulleys go even further than Street versions to provide you with the highest possible power gains. Unorthodox Ultra Race pulleys are a single belt crank pulley, only driving the alternator, and in some applications the water pump (when not driven off the cam belt). No other accessories are driven by this pulley. This makes for an extremely light piece that will provide you with even higher power gains than Unorthodox Ultra Street crank pulleys.
For the current Ultra Race lineup, gains of 6 to 15 HP and 5 to 12 lbs.-ft. on normally aspirated engines and 8 to 18 HP and 6 to 16 lbs.-ft. on forced induction engines can be seen. Ultra Street Set Lightened Underdrive Pulley Sets
Unorthodox Racing Ultra Accessory pulleys are included in the Ultra Street Sets or may be purchased separately. They are CNC-machined from lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum billet. As with all Unorthodox products, premium 6061-T6 aluminum billet ensures the consistency of the material's strength and balance. Tolerances for each accessory pulley is held to within .001". In addition, numerous machining steps are taken to ensure the pulleys are the lightest possible design. Premium fit and finish ensures a beautifully matched set you are proud to display under the hood of your vehicle.

Ultra Time Race Adjustable Cam Sprockets
Can evolutionary perfection withstand the course of time? Unorthodox Racing Ultra Time Race lightened adjustable cam sprockets are the pinnacle of adjustable cam sprocket technology. These sprockets set a new standard for craftsmanship and reliability. Each sprocket is CNC-machined from lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum billet and is adjustable +/- 10º (advance/retard). These sprockets, as with all Unorthodox sprockets, are accurate to within 1 minute of a degree!
In addition to the contouring, lightening holes are added for additional weight loss. Ultra Time Race sprockets are lighter than the OEM pieces, even lighter than the Ultra Time Street. Tolerances are held to within .001". The outer cog on Unorthodox's Ultra Time Race sprockets is hard-anodized, preventing wear from the timing belt. They also utilize a 5-bolt locking pattern with stainless steel hardware. Combine this with exceptional tolerances between the center and the outer cog and you have a sprocket that will provide a lifetime of worry-free adjustment and reliability.
Horsepower gains can vary widely depending on what has been done to the vehicle. Gains from 5 to 20 horsepower can be realized. In Unorthodox's instructions they have recommended settings for your specific vehicle. For best results on highly modified vehicles we recommend a trip down to your local dyno shop. The Ultra Time Race sprockets are available for SOHC and DOHC engines. Ultra Time Race sprockets are available in black, polished, red, and blue anodizing.
Ultra Time Street Adjustable Cam Sprockets
New concepts eventually become a reality. The newest addition to Unorthodox's Ultra Series product line is their Ultra Time Street lightened adjustable cam sprockets. These sprockets are CNC-machined from the same lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum billet as the Ultra Time Race sprockets. Ultra Time Street sprockets set a new standard for accuracy and finish at a price-conscious level.
Each sprocket is adjustable +/- 10º (advance/retard) and accurate to within 1 minute of a degree! Because of their design, Ultra Time Street sprockets are lighter than the original OEM sprockets, even without the holes and contouring of the Ultra Time Race sprockets. Another important point at this price conscious level is that tolerances on these pieces are held to .001". The tolerances between the center and outer cog is the same as Unorthodox's Ultra Time Race, something never before seen at this price level. The outer cog on the Ultra Time Street sprockets is hard-anodized, preventing wear from the timing belt. They also utilize a 4-bolt locking pattern with stainless steel hardware. This design not only provides a stronger clamp load on the sprocket once set, it also provides a lifetime of worry-free adjustment.
